04.06.06  KEEP YOUR BOOTS HANDY

The season may be over (and what a season - a full roll call of honours will be here on the website soon!) but there's still plenty of football action over the Summer.

First - it'sBrockham 06: World Cup Tournament. This is the biggest, most ambitious event the Badgers have ever attempted. Nearly 1200 players from over 140 teams will be coming to play on the Big Field on 17th and 18th June. You can read all about it on the Tournament microsite. (Click on the World Cup on the right).

The Tournament Committee have put in an amazing amount of work to ensure this will be an event of the highest quality - and a landmark annual event in the Surrey football calendar (as well as a major fundraiser for the club).

But an event of this size takes an enormous amount of work to make it run smoothly over the weekend.  Which means we need your help. We need volunteers - family and friends - from every agegroup to sell the food,

referee matches, act as stewards.  If you've never managed to get more involved with the club before...then why not start here?  You don't have to volunteer all weekend - just an hour or so would be a fantastic help. If you can spare a little time for the Badgers' most important event in many years, please email info@brockhambadgersfc.co.uk and a member of the Tournament Committee will get back to you.

After the Tournament - it's the Annual Player Awards on the afternoon ofJuly 2nd at the Cricket Pavilion on Brockham Rec. Check here on the website for finalised details and timings soon.
