A WEEKEND OF TWO HALVES!
On Saturday there were winds and downpours....on Sunday it was suncream weather. But one thing was constant.....Brockham 07 was played in a fantastic spirit, with 1400 boys and girls from more than 160 teams engaging in fun but competitive 6-a-side football.

The Tournament Committee would like to thank all the players, managers, family and friends who came to the Big Field to ensure our second annual event, Brockham 07, was an enjoyable weekend - matching and exceeding all expectations.

The club also wishes to thank all the Brockham parents and older players who gave up so much time over the weekend to ensure that our visitors experienced exceptional organisation and officiating.

"It was an amazing event."

"I only do one tournament each summer, I will make yours it in the future."

"All the officials were courteous, the refs were fair and there were all the facilities we could ask for in a whole day event."

"It was wonderful to see so many children playing organised sport in such a great environment. Here's to next year!"

The standard of football had improved with first rate, well-organised teams competing hard, but playing fair. With teams having to come through a  qualifying group of five matches, followed by up to three knock-out games, those who walked away with the trophies could be proud of their achievements. A gallery of pictures capturing the atmosphere of the Tournament, from the pitches to behind-the-scenes, has been uploaded to view on Flickr.

Finally....thanks to the main event sponsor, Horizon Data Management, and all the other businesses who supported Brockham 07 so generously - including Elliott Jones Catering and the Brockham Bonfire Team, who provided top quality refreshment, and Fulham FC who observed the action, ran the Speed Cage and even brought Billy the Badger!
