URGENT HELP NEEDED
17 July 2008

Brockham Badgers urgently needs a parent to volunteer to help out with the running of the club over the next twelve months.

After several years as our Treasurer, Martin Bangs has stepped down to take on a new role finding the much needed pitches to sustain our 350 regular young footballers.

That means we have no one to look after our money!

We urgently need someone to come forward and volunteer to take on the role of Treasurer. The role involves about two hours of time each week - banking money, issuing receipts and payments, recording and checking all the incomings and outgoings. No experience is necessary - just a willingness to help run the club provide regular football for young people. You'll be supported by an ambitious Management Committee made up of other local volunteers.

Put simply - Brockham Badgers cannot run without a Treasurer. So, if you've been enjoying watching your son or daughter play football, please do think about getting more involved in the running of the club to ensure it continues. To volunteer - or just to get more information - click here to email your telephone number to Martin Bangs.

"AN INCREDIBLY BUSY TWELVE MONTHS..."
17 July 2008

...that was how the past year was summed up by Brockham Badgers' Chairman, Grant Ashley, as he brought the curtain down on the 2007/8 season with his report to the club's Annual General Meeting.

Indeed, with a huge number of successes on the pitch and unprecedented activity on it, 'incredibly busy' could be viewed as an understatement.

Click here to read Grant's report in full, including details of league winners, Fair Play awards, the Charter Standard Award, the search for a permanent home for the Badgers and Brockham 08 - our biggest and most successful event yet.
